I went in there and they wouldn't let me pay and keep asking questions and then when I said that I was going to pay , they said they couldn't take me because someone else is coming in, and then they told me to come in a different time but that's why I made a appointment for. Now they are I miss the appointment but it was them that didn't want to take me in.

I saw this doctor in January 2022 for a routine eye screening and to update a pair of reading glasses. The visit was horrendous. Worse, I was given a prescription that made absolutely zero sense and felt horrible. When I got my new glasses they were unusable. I went back and asked to be retested. I was not retested and received a slightly modified prescription. These, too, were unusable. I went back a third time and demanded I be restested. I was partially retested and given another new prescription. These were good enough to use but still did not feel right. I picked these glasses up in March of 2022, two months after starting this saga. Five months later, facing increasing discomfort, I went to my old eye clinic. I was retested and the clinic was astonished at the prescription I had been wearing which, among other things, corrected for an astigmatism I don't have! I now finally have lenses that are correct. I also have a $573 bill because my insurance does not cover multiple lenses in a single year. I expect My Eye Doctor to compensate me for this bill because I would not have this bill in the first place if my eye visit in January 2022 had been sufficient.
