The Rockmart Cultural Arts Center is one of Rockmart’s greatest attractions. Offering classes in arts and crafts for all ages. Participants can display and sell their work. They sponsor special events. Open to other areas outside Rockmart. I recommend you check them out!
What a wonderful place in this small town--a hidden gem. So many classes are offered on a variety of topics. The studio store has so much cool stuff, I could spend a lot of money there. This is a great place to shop to buy candles, pottery, paintings, ornaments, kitchenware, clothing, and so much more--a perfect place to get someone a special gift of Rockmart while supporting local artists.
This gem is a shining star in a small, drive-through, west Georgia town. The Arts Center is a bit difficult to locate, but worth the effort to find. The art on display is always excellent and the gallery space is large. All art mediums, 2-D and 3-D, are available. Most is for sale at reasonable prices if you have a blank space in your home that needs a conversation piece. The Director, Peggy Cline, and her staff are hospitable and helpful. Rockmart is an easy drive from Atlanta, Marietta, Cartersville, and Birmingham. Put this on your list of places to visit.
