JULY NO ES PROFESIONAL!!!! PORFAVOR NO GASTEN SU TIEMPO NI DINERO EN ESTE LUGAR.I walked in for a haircut and explained to the stylist that I had never had my hair dyed and was interested in a balayage. She proceeded to tell me that it would take 5 HOURS and the total cost would be $420.00. I am currently 4 months pregnant, and I asked her if there were any precautions I should take. She told me to hold one moment while she asked JULY. JULY said VERY LOUDLY in front of the salon with other clients, "I have been pregnant before (points to her children), and nothing has happened to me; it's not true." The stylist was nice and continued my cut, and I told her I couldn't...read full review
JULY NO ES PROFESIONAL!!!! PORFAVOR NO GASTEN SU TIEMPO NI DINERO EN ESTE LUGAR. I walked in for a haircut and explained to the stylist that I had never had my hair dyed and was interested in a balayage. She proceeded to tell me that it would take 5 HOURS and the total cost would be $420.00. I am currently 4 months pregnant, and I asked her if there were any precautions I should take. She told me to hold one moment while she asked JULY. JULY said VERY LOUDLY in front of the salon with other clients, "I have been pregnant before (points to her children), and nothing has happened to me; it's not true." The stylist was nice and continued my cut, and I told her I couldn't stay for 5 HOURS but if I could come back next week and have it done. She asked for a $50 deposit and made the appointment. I had a prenatal appointment that Monday and told my doctor about the hair appointment I was to have, and he told me to wait until after my pregnancy because my pregnancy was already high-risk. So I called the stylist and let her know that with the deposit I gave, I could have a different procedure done that didn't involve hair dye. She put me on hold to ask July; she returned to tell me that July said No because she had been pregnant and had dyed her hair, and nothing happened. I was shocked that she didn't care about my doctor's recommendations. And my deposit was LOST. I asked to talk to JULY, and she denied my call. I called the salon, and she did not want to take my call. Frustrated, I explained the situation to some colleagues, and they began to show me how the price was a rip-off and that a balayage does NOT take that long, and neither does it cost that much. She was charging more than DOUBLE what it cost in a REAL PROFESSIONAL salon.
Call to make an appt. Ended up making an appt with Sol for the next morning. She insisted I pay $30 to make the appt in case I didn't show up. I showed up, but she didn't. I got there a bit before 10am and nothing. The salon was closed! I texted Sol. No response. I called her. She said I'm almost there. Not even an attempt of an apology. Almost there, she said. Ended up waiting for her to come and open her business for 40 mnts. She shows up, parks, unloads her whiney toddler, but doesn't even say good morning. I even had to hold the door open for her! Meanwhile, her kid won't stop calling her. She turned on the TV for the girl. Eventually, she stayed quite. Finally, I...read full review
