I adopted a stray and they were able to see me the next week to get him vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. They were very friendly and called me with updates throughout the whole process. In addition, Prior to doing any services they provided an itemized statement of the expense for the visit and allowed me to make informed decisions on what services I wanted. They offered their suggestions but I did not feel pressured to pay for any of the additional test. They were also able to schedule me in to bring my secondary cat in for her annual shots the same week. We've been coming to Family Friend for vet visits and boarding for about 6 years. We have had nothing but good experiences from the vets, techs and grooming staff throughout our time. We have only had one serious health issue with our dog and while this did require 2 visits and a fairly pricey medication, the issue was ultimately resolved. Over the 2-3 days we were navigating his issues the Vet and the staff were exceptional and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we got the needed medication as soon as possible even to the point of ensuring we got the meds after their business hours.
We lost our baby Chowder last fall due to lymphoma . He was 11 years old and he was family . Dr. Matt Davis and staff were there every step of the way during his illness and up to the end ! Very compassionate and took time with my wife and I during this rough time ! Really great people ! Our new baby is a patient of Dr. Davis also.
