This is a great local paper that keeps up with the issues and events in Walton County, Georgia. It has a bi-weekly release schedule and features news, opinions, great local sports coverage, and event notices. I absolutely recommend this paper, either in its print or online form.

This is my county newspaper. They are a pretty small time operation. I guess I had gotten spoiled by the Gwinnett Post having lived in Gwinnett county for years. It's taken me a while to get used to a bi-weekly paper with a smaller online presence. I'm now starting to get accustomed to the charm and simplicity of a small country newspaper.
