My sister and I are agreed that this was the BEST guided tour we've ever been on. (We're respectively 78 and 75, so we've done a few.) The visual aspects were, of course, incredible, but Kitty's energy, passion, and depth of knowledge made the experience extraordinary. We left knowing we couldn't hope to retain everything we'd learned, but so happy to have been given the chance to try!

Visiting Hinesville on business & happened upon this wonderful museum! To my understanding it is a replica house with a lot of amazing/real artifacts from the time. The tour guide was absolutely amazing. She accommodated our time constraints & gave us an abridged, but still very detailed and fascinating history of the house, historical figures & surrounding areas. If we had more time, definitely would have gone again just to experience the tour to its fullest! *One thing to note, no photography is allowed inside for security purposes, but definitely bring your camera for the exterior of the museum, & the cemetery across the street!

Kitty was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the museum and the colonial history of the people and area that are the focus of the museum. If you are at all interested in Georgia's colonial history, you will love this small but well-done museum.
