About Countryside Veterinary Clinic
Countryside Veterinary Clinic is highly praised for its excellent care and friendly staff. Many reviews mention how the clinic is able to get pets back home quickly, often on the same day, with successful treatments and surgeries. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices, which they find more affordable compared to other clinics, and the genuine love and care the staff show for animals. The overnight care and attention given to sick pets leave pet owners feeling grateful and confident in the clinic's services. The staff, including a standout veterinarian, are described as caring, dedicated, and attentive.
However, some reviews note concerns about the curbside-only service, which limits in-person interaction and makes some pet owners uncomfortable, especially when they are unable to see the inside of the clinic or meet the veterinarian in person. There is also mention of a lack of clear communication about costs and services, with some pet owners feeling unsure about what they will be charged and wanting more transparency. Despite these issues, most reviews highlight the caring attitude and quality of care provided. Overall, Countryside Veterinary Clinic is seen as a trustworthy and compassionate place for pet care, with a few areas for improvement in communication and transparency.
Huge shoutout to Dr. Thompson and the amazing staff at Countryside Veterinary Clinic in McRae, GA 🐾💙
They have literally saved CJ not once… but TWICE.
Two year ago, CJ was bitten by a rattlesnake and was hospitalized for two weeks. It was a rough couple weeks, but Dr. Thompson took the best care of him and got our boy back home.
Two years later, we were back again with another scary situation — still not totally sure if he got into something toxic or if his immune system was attacking itself — but after another week in their care, CJ pulled through AGAIN.
Dr. Thompson is so knowledgeable and genuinely cares. She has always treated CJ so well, and her staff… read full review
Can’t say enough great things about this place! They were already highly recommended by close friends and my people of Dodge/Telfair but dang they are AMAZING! Give them 10 stars if I could. It is curbside only which was 0 issues whatsoever. Prices were very reasonable and service was phenomenal. They got my baby back same day and surgery was a success. I love these people and Donna Thompson is a LEGEND!
I couldn’t be more happy with Countryside Veterinary Clinic and all of its wonderful staff. I brought my cat, Tilly, to them she was very sick. They kept her overnight and had her feeling like a brand new kitty the next day. The thing that was most pleasing to me was how much they seem to love her and care about all the animals that are in their care; not to mention their pricing! The pricing is astonishing compared to other veterinarian clinics. I’m forever grateful for these amazing people and I cannot recommend them enough!
