Purchasing a home from capshaw was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made. This is a warning…. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT purchase a home from the builder. The home materials are crap, and they hire anybody to install material. In my house on two months with an hvac issue, plumbing issue and discovered that my roof does not have any felt on it, the shingles are turn, and the flashing is bent. All mechanical damage from installation. The plumber does not know what they are doing either. You would do better buying a DRB home or any Century which is also in their community. Please if yall don't want to waste your money on what should be a n investment, your home, don't use these ppl to build your home.

So untrustworthy. Homes are thrown just together. They'll use the cheapest materials possible. They would not use materials needed in the home building process. Our entire community LPV flooring is coming up bc this company did not place the moisture barrier down. Just the LPV floor.

Had to make them replace the tub while they were still building the home bc one of the workers thought it was OK to urinate in the tub bc he was that lazy to go outside to use the porter johns.

We bought a new home with Capshaw at the end of 2022. On August 10, we started to have septic back-ups septic everywhere on the first floor. Capshaw and his vendor agreed it was our fault because they saw the biomass at the tank's surface, and it was grease. Southside Septic charged us $400 to change a filter [It is not a joke. We have the receipt to prove] the filter is washable and $600 to pump out. On August 23, we had the same problem: Capshaw and Southside made us pay again to pump the tank.
