Fast wash cycles and efficient dryers. I felt like I could let my kids hang out without worrying while I worked. I thought my mattress pad was ruined after dirt in my house water supply stained it terribly. Lucy’s washer got it right out. Thank you!!
About Lucy's Laundry
Lucy's Laundry is a laundromat with two locations for customer convenience. It is open 24 hours, which works well for people who work night shifts. The facility focuses on having a clean environment and provides a full service counter open seven days a week. Services include a popular wash/dry/fold option and a pressing service that avoids dry cleaning chemicals.
However, many customers report issues with the machines. It is common to find machines out of order, with broken credit card readers on most dryers, though all washers have them. Change machines and self-serve detergent are often unavailable. The dryers can half-way work and sometimes take money without starting. While some find it a decent place to do laundry quickly and for a good price, the seating is poor and the location could use more attention from management. Customers are advised to come prepared and confirm an attendant is present before visiting.
Reviews
I was looking for a quiet and quaint laundromat place to do my laundry. While I'm waiting for my washer and dryer unit in my apartment. I do enjoy going on the weekends to do my laundry. There's hardly anybody there and I love it. I have the washers and dryers to myself most Saturday early mornings.
Drove all the way over there Saturday, to use a large machine to wash 2 comforters with other regular wash. The attendant had notes on all the large machines, even though he was not using them. I asked, since you aren't using them now can I use one of them, he told me no. So, I had to go driving to find another place. I'm from out of state and don't know where to look other than the internet. If I get this type of treatment next time I go there, it'll be my last time to patronize them.
