Valerie Kennedy Vocal Studio is led by an outstanding and classically trained instructor with over 25 years of experience. She is a gentle yet tough teacher, compassionate and caring, with a devotion and love for her students. She teaches fantastic vocal technique and proper technique to students of any age, from absolute beginners to advanced performers. She can teach any genre, including pop, rock, musical theater, opera, country, and classical. Her impeccable training provides a competitive edge, enabling students to accomplish their goals. The progress students make is amazing, often within just a few months. She has an amazing ability to bring the best out of each student. Her students perform on Broadway, are Miss America contestants, and typically land parts in local theaters, school productions, and college opera. She also provides preparation for college placement. We've known Valerie since 2011 when she started working with our son. He was an absolute vocal beginner. The progress she made with him in just two years was amazing! He ended up with lead roles in local theatre and lead roles in college opera and musical theatre productions. If you want a classically trained instructor, she's the one. Valerie Kennedy is an outstanding teacher who taught my daughter from the age of 8. She can teach any genre of music: pop, country, rock, broadway and classical to ANY age. Within a few months you or your friends won't recognize your voice. She has an amazing ability to bring the best out of each student and teaches a fantastic vocal technique.
