The wait is worth it.. Dr King is amazing... the other reviews are spot on... you will wait, be prepared... but once you are seen Dr. King takes her time... no rushing, she makes sure you understand everything ... one of the best vet experiences we have had
Dr. King is great; she doesn't look old enough to have been practicing for what seems like eons. Years ago I took my 12-year-old beagle to get assessed and found that her diminished vision was simply due to age and her cataracts were only at stage one, so no intervention was needed.
A few months ago a friend began fostering a two and a half month old Schnauzer puppy who was blind because the blankety blank who first had her at a very young age forced her eyes open prematurely, and then abandoned her at a vet clinic. (As far as we know, this act was extreme ignorance and was not an intentionally malicious act. )
