Riverside Animal Hospital is highly recommended for routine veterinary care, though it is not equipped to handle emergencies. Customers have shared their positive experiences with the hospital, highlighting the exceptional care provided by Dr. Shirling, who takes the time to address the root of the problem. The staff and doctors are described as friendly and helpful, though one client had a less than ideal experience with their newly adopted kitten, which led them to return the pet to the rescue organization.
I love Dr Shirling. She takes time to get to the root of the problem. We need more doctors like her and she is not a Band-Aid Dr like most of them are. If you want good service and the BEST doctor go to Riverside animal hospital you will not be disappointed.
I took my kitty here for three years and loved this vet office and recommended them to everyone! I had a very bad Macon vet experience at another clinic and it was so amazing to be taken care of here. I just moved out of state and am so sad to lose them.
I brought my kitty here for the first time. The staff and doc seemed nice, but the day after the visit my kitty was gagging really bad and I called them because I didn't know if something they asked me to give her made her do this because she seemed fine before I brought her there, except the diarrhea from previous antibiotics. I was told someone would call me back, but no one did. I took the newly adopted sick kitty back to the rescue place I adopted her from a few days before. I was not prepared to deal with a sickly kitty so soon after adopting her. She was 5 months old. Anyway, not getting a call back played a role in me taking her back to the rescue place.
