I don't understand why you're required to fill out 3 pages of information if the dentist (Dr. Abraham Thomas) isn't going to bother to read it. I have severe anxiety around dentists. I'm okay with procedures as long as you walk me through it. I have never had a root canal before. He explained nothing. Fumbled around and tried to put a latex looking balloon in my mouth while covering my nose. I told him I needed a minute because I could not breathe and I was choking on my saliva. He then got frustrated and jerked the latex whatever it was (he never explained) out of my mouth. He then puts some other thing in my mouth and resumes. I am assuming we are doing the root canal. NO. He doesn't tell me we aren't doing the root canal he is quiet. He is in and out of the room. Never once telling me what he is doing. He performs 1/2 a root canal and puts a temporary filling (like the kind you can buy in the store) and tells me I need to go to a specialist to get the rest of my root canal done as soon as possible because of my anxiety. No. If you would have asked me how I was doing.... if you would have taken time to explain .... THIS.... would have never happened. He changed the plans without even asking or telling me because he was frustrated. I think Dr. Thomas should have asked before proceeding with a botched procedure and asked if I wanted to have it done before doing it without permission. Before it even started.... when he jerked out the latex.... he should have told me he wasn't going to the procedure yet he put me in pain with no resolution. He has now exposed the root and put some temporary Dentex on it. I am in extreme pain and now have to find another doctor.

Relaxing & thorough care! I have bad dental anxiety & they provided me with blanket & a warm neck wrap to keep me feel at ease. Sam, my hygienist was a perfectionist at cleaning my teeth. 10/10 care!

PROVIDENCE dental spa is absolutely WONDERFUL! 5 stars!!! I have been going here for over a year and the staff has been Great every time I have an appointment. This facility is always in spotless condition. Everyone goes out of their way to make your experience pleasant starting at the front Desk. DR. Verrillo is absolutely 💯 amazing,. And Victoria is a delight. They truly care about their patients. I would give more stars if I could!!!
