“I had an amazing experience at Katlaw Truck Driving School. It is a memory I’ll cherish for a lifetime. The staff there are all incredible characters—friendly, inspiring, and genuinely caring. Some of the older staff pulled me aside for heartfelt conversations that motivated me and made me feel valued. The main instructor Brandon is a total badass; he's an ex-Army Ranger who can drive any truck and has more certifications than anyone I've ever known. He keeps it real, is super cool, and offers great advice on trucking careers, companies, and post-school decisions. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to focus my job search, and I ultimately signed with Jordan Carriers, which he recommended as the best fit for my goals.

The training was very helpful, especially the pre-trip inspection—you'll pass easily if you study and do it the way they teach you! While the yard trucks are not the newest or in the best shape; however, they are perfectly adequate for learning the maneuvers. The dedicated mechanic keeps them running,. You will get plenty of reps in if you choose to put the work in. Everyday on the yard is at least 8hrs. I got plenty of practice time and aced my skills test at the DDS first try! The road trucks are safe, DOT-compliant, and provided a great driving experience.

Overall, if you focus and put in the effort, you'll be successful here! I loved every moment of my time at Katlaw and highly recommend it to anyone looking to start their trucking career!

“A1 is great for whatever needs you may have. I took the DUI Risk Reduction course which is 3 days, 20 hours, and it was actually great! My instructor, Ruben was very down to earth and respectful and he made the classes enjoyable. Plus, the interaction with the other participants made the classes fly by with ease.
