“We are so lucky to have Locust Grove Veterinary Clinic right down the road from us. We've gotten our Chiweenie spayed there, had her hernia surgery there, and gotten her updated on shots there. All of the staff are always friendly and professional. I cannot recommend them enough!”
“Dr Lisa and Dave Are the kindest, knowledgeable and professional folks I know. Their prices are awesome and treatments are explained well. I love this vet and will never go anywhere else as long as Dr Lisa is practicing! So thankful for them.”
“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lexie and everyone at The Healthy Pet Vet Clinic.
This past Tuesday, my daughter and I brought our beloved 10-year-old Boxer, Cash, in after his health had continued to decline. During our visit, we were faced with the heartbreaking decision to let him go.
Dr. Lexie and her entire team were incredibly compassionate, honest, and supportive. They took the time to help us understand what was best for Cash while also comforting us through one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make.
What meant the most was the love and dignity they showed Cash. Dr. Lexie gently stroked him, talked to him, and comforted him as if he were her own dog. At no point did it feel rushed or clinical. Instead, it felt like they truly understood that we weren’t just losing a pet—we were saying goodbye to a member of our family.
We were able to lie beside him, hold him, and surround him with love until his very last breath. Although nothing could ever make that moment easy, Dr. Lexie and her team made an unimaginably painful experience as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be.
We are still grieving and know we will be for a long time, but we are so grateful that Cash’s final moments were spent in the care of people who treated him with such kindness, respect, and love.
Thank you, Dr. Lexie and everyone at The Healthy Pet Vet Clinic, for giving our sweet boy the most gentle goodbye we could have hoped for. We will never forget your compassion.”
