I was very pleased with my recent visit to the Lavonia Hearing and Balance Clinic. I went concerning the issue of tinnitus. After a quite thorough examination, including a hearing test, they explained to me what tinnitus was caused by, items that could aggravate the issue and how my hearing loss, though slight, could make it worse. They did not pressure me to make the first step to get fitted for hearing aids but allowed me to make lifestyle changes first to see if there was improvement, then come back in a reasonable amount of time to try hearing aids. I left knowing much more about the condition and how well I could hear.
