While having severe white coat phobia and being on the spectrum having an office doctor or dentist who understands these things is really helpful. Having my husband with me in the back really helps. I always get anxious about going to the dentist but today was especially anxiety-filled since it was my first appointment at a new practice AND I was getting a post-root canal crown. But everyone was so friendly and welcoming and made me feel like family!
