I went to MyEYEDr. in Kennesaw, GA off of Wade Green because I needed to have my scleral contact lenses changed as my vision had declined. I had visited Dr. Tieu at MyEyeDr. years ago, but my immediate previous contact lenses were done by a different eye doctor group. I went to the different eye doctor because they were closer to my hometown. Kennesaw, GA is not a hope, skip, and a jump from Macon, Georgia, but what a mistake it was to go to this other place! The fit was terrible and I highly suspect it contributed to my recurring eye irritation. My eye was literally turning cherry red at least twice a month. This would be unfortunate in any case, but especially in a case where you really cannot work without corrective lenses. I am dependent on my lenses as I have an eye disorder. After returning to Georgia in November from my overseas work, I returned to MyEyeDr. and again had a visit with Dr. Tieu and his specialist Alex. After check-in, I was greeted by Alex. I explained to him that I was only in the country until mid-January after which time I would need to return to work. He explained the contact fitting process would require several visits and it would be tight to meet that deadline, but he said he and Dr. Tieu would try. Alex went out of his way to contact the previous contact lenses fitter to get some measurements from which to start to hopefully speed up the process instead of having to start from scratch, but the other place was not helpful. Dr. Tieu and team had to start from the beginning. Alex promised me he would get me in as soon as possible when the trial sets of contacts came in. That he did! He even called far past closing hours as he was still in the office and had an update about my lenses. The team worked hard to get me all done and two days before my flight was to leave I was sitting in the office and another awesome team member, Meredith, was helping me with the final pair. They were perfect!! So perfect that at 36,000 feet somewhere over the coast of the UK while enroute to my final destination, I could actually see the blades of the wind turbines in the ocean. Meredith informed me on my last visit that I was seeing 20/20 and she must be correct, because I have not been able to see this clearly in years. Literally, YEARS! I would like to again thank the team of Dr. Tieu, Alex, and Meredith for being willing to work with me and my tight timeline, for the great communication, the fitting expertise, and for having just plain ole awesome customer service. They are amazing and I highly recommend anyone needing scleral lenses, especially if they have the complication of keratoconus and a corneal transplant like I do, to seek this team out. They are fantastic!!

Had a great experience here with Dr. Gamba, as well as the optical assistant (can't remember her name, but she has sweet rainbow crocs). Check in was good! Front desk was pleasant and efficient. Even with a full waiting area, things were moving along smoothly. It was my daughters first eye exam (5yr), and they were so kind and great with kids. They did a great job explaining everything to me, and involved my daughter in the conversations about what was going on. Clean facility, professional staff, efficient management. Thank you!

Fayth did a great job helping me find the pair of glasses that met my needs & style. She took the time to find out why glasses I chose in the past had not been working well for me. She was patient, helpful and professional!
