I'm 64 years old and this is, hands down, the absolute worst dental experience I've ever had. My original complaint was completely disregarded, and the pain in that tooth gets worse by the day. The secondary issue of replacing two crowns that had fallen off, was treated by building the teeth up to provide more surface for adhesion. The dentist exposed nerves on both teeth, creating significant pain, where there was none previously. No. pain management was offered, even though the soft tissue was bleeding. She did not put temporary crowns on, leaving the teeth open for THREE weeks. When I went to have the permanent crowns set. She began irrigating the bottom tooth with peroxide directly into the exposed nerve. I asked to be numbed. She applied surface anesthesia to the top gum but not the lower. The upper shot was not bad but the lower one felt like she was jamming a nail into my cheek. I jerked from the pain. She pulled the needle out and jammed it in again. As she set the upper crown, I could feel that it didn't fit well. I suspect that my teeth had shifted because there was no temporary crown to place hold. Both teeth continue to have extreme pain. I can't chew on that side at.all The other things that happened were administrative in nature and continue to add insult to injury. I asked twice for the private, in house email for the owner, the dentist I requested, the dentist I was handed off to, and the operations manager. They refuse my request to do this communication privately with the people directly involved. I waited three weeks for my initial appointment, even though I was in pain. I requested a specific dentist and she performed the initial examination and wrote a treatment plan. I made an appointment and paid around $800 in advance. In my mind, a large advance payment both secures the appointment and confirms that I will be there barring an emergency situation or illness. Instead, they have a punitive policy, wherein the patient must call and confirm again or the appointment is canceled. When I arrived for my appointment, I'm taken to a treatment room. I see 'my dentist' and expect she will be with me shortly. But NO, I was handed off to a different, less experienced, dentist. Mt previous description tells how that went
