“I had a fantastic experience at Once In A Blue Moon this week getting an existing tattoo refreshed and expanded by Andres, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!
I went into the process with a general vision but wasn’t entirely sure how I wanted the final design to come together. Andres was incredibly patient, collaborative, and thoughtful throughout the creative process. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and even drew up several different mockups before my appointment so we could get the design just right. I never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision, which I really appreciated, especially since tattoos are permanent!
His artistry is outstanding. His line work is crisp and precise, his colors are vibrant, and his shading is exceptional. I learned that Andres has around 20 years of tattooing experience, and it absolutely shows in both his technical skill and his attention to detail. He has a great eye for how a design should flow and work with an existing tattoo rather than looking like an afterthought.
The entire experience, from booking to the actual tattoo appointment, was seamless. Hayden, the shop manager, was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the process.
The studio itself also deserves recognition. It’s exceptionally clean, welcoming, and professional. I’ve been in tattoo shops that felt a little rough around the edges, but this one has a completely different atmosphere. It’s the kind of environment where you immediately feel comfortable and confident in the people working there.
