Phillip from GeorgiaSpec Heating and Cooling came to service our two air conditioning units. One of the units had a failed compressor that needed to be replaced. He arrived promptly, replaced the compressor, and added refrigerant to both units. I highly recommend Phillip and GeorgiaSpec Heating and Cooling for HVAC maintenance and repairs!
Outstanding from start to finish. Same day turnaround with no outstanding service call fee. Explained as he went and educated us to know what to do to maintain the two HVAC systems, lines, filters and simple troubleshooting if a storm comes, etc. (to prevent further damages if/when the unexpected happens).
He checked the systems over and serviced them, got them up to par for efficiency. Mind you- He came behind a company that was here 3 weeks ago who apparently charged for work they didn’t do. In today’s times, I appreciate honesty as well as affordability. This will be my first call and only call from now on. Back to feeling “cool” now!

We are very pleased to have contracted with Georgia Spec to replace 2 units for us in the last year. The replacement was very smooth even though dealing with a difficult zoned system. The SEER ratings were better that our old unit and met the requirements for a rebate from our EMC. When we needed a follow-up change they responded immediately. I highly recommend them.
