“I want to start this review by saying I am not the type of person who believes in rating every restaurant or every company that provides a service. The truth is, anyone can write a review these days. Folks can be influenced by discounts, coupons, or free gifts. At my age, I’ve seen enough to know that a review ought to come from the heart after an experience so exceptional, or so terrible, that you simply can’t keep it to yourself. Well… here I am writing one. I first called Accent Roofing Service back in May of 2024 and worked with Nick Gonzalez to replace my roof and gutters. Like anyone these days, I looked at reviews. Their reputation certainly caught my attention, but I wasn’t about to let a few stars make my decision for me. I’ve been around long enough to know that good character doesn’t always fit inside five little stars. After meeting with several companies, I chose Nick. Not because he was the cheapest, but because he never made me feel rushed. He answered every question with patience, explained the products, the warranties, and every little detail. I never felt like I was buying a roof. I felt like I was making an investment in my home with someone who genuinely cared. Now, every home improvement project has a few bumps in the road. That’s just life. Roofing isn’t putting together a puzzle where every piece fits perfectly. We’re talking about a home that’s over thirty years old and has gracefully settled over time. Of course there were a couple of hiccups, but what impressed me was how they handled them. George Sanchez made sure everything was corrected with care, and before long those concerns were behind us. I slept well knowing my home had been taken care of. Well now, fast forward to June of 2026. Lord have mercy, Mother Nature surely had other plans. After one storm after another, I discovered water coming through my ceiling. My heart absolutely sank. I called Accent and was told someone from the warranty department would contact me within 24 to 48 hours. I’ll admit it, I wasn’t exactly thrilled. When rain is coming into your home, patience isn’t your strongest virtue. But wouldn’t you know it… I never had to wait. Just two hours and twenty-six minutes later, Michelle from the warranty department called me. From the very first hello, she spoke to me like I wasn’t just another file on her desk. She listened, apologized sincerely, reassured me, and promised someone would be at my home the very next day. There’s an old saying that you can tell a lot about a person by how they treat someone who’s having a bad day, and that young lady passed that test with flying colors. The next morning Porfirio arrived just as promised. He found an issue with the flashing, repaired it, and performed a water test. The two of us stood there staring at my ceiling like we’d never seen a ceiling before, waiting for that dreaded drip… and nothing. Not one drop. Just a dry ceiling and one very relieved old lady. I honestly thought that would be the end of my story, but then Michelle called me again just to make sure everything was still okay. She didn’t have to do that. She simply cared. She kept me informed, followed through on every promise she made, and never once made me feel like I was bothering her. In today’s world, that’s becoming mighty hard to find. That is why I’m writing this review. To Nick, George, Porfirio, Michelle, and everyone at Accent Roofing Service, thank you. Thank you for standing behind your work, your employees, and your customers. May God continue to bless this company and every family whose home you help protect.
