“To make a long review as short as possible, I am 52 and have “dental anxiety” on a ridiculous level. I am embarrassed to say that I hadn’t been to a dentist in years, even for a cleaning, due to my fears.
At 47, due to some dental pain I went to see Dr. Snyder (on the advice of my mom who loved her). I needed a tooth pulled and my nerves were so bad I was about to just die. Dr. Snyder assured me that I wouldn’t feel any pain, she was going to numb me up and
give me the gas if I needed it.
During the process she was SO calming and voiced everything she was doing before she did it. My teeth have some big roots and she really had to pull and pull but I didn’t feel one thing. She is so confident in her abilities and she just is amazing at her work.
I wish it didn’t cost so much for dental work, even to have a tooth pulled was over $200 (at least that’s what it was 4 years ago). The 2nd time I went to have a tooth pulled, they wouldn’t do it until I had my teeth cleaned first. The total bill was close to $600 and I had to pay it all before doing ANYthing. I guess it was to establish me as a patient and not just a walk-in needing a tooth pulled.
But honestly it was the best experience I’d ever had at a dental office, and for my nerves and anxiety to be calm, it was worth it to me.

“Dr. Fogo—you treated me when I was a kid. 9 yrs old-12 yrs old. At that time, you fixed my cavities with silver fillings. I want you to know that I’m now 51 and the fillings are still in place! Amazing! I grew up and became an attorney. I’m practicing in Nashvillle now. My fillings are still intact but are being replaced now with crowns. I just wanted you to know how grateful I am that you treated me and did such amazing work! My dentist her is wholly impressed with your work! Thank you for 41 years of solid teeth!!“
