Smith Veterinary Hospital is a kind and professional vet located in Douglas. They provide comprehensive care for pets, including dental work, and are accommodating in emergency situations. One reviewer appreciated their help with spaying a feral kitten, although noted they were a bit pricey. The hospital has been the go-to vet for several pet owners, who praise their compassionate care. They showed understanding and love during a difficult time for a couple saying goodbye to their pet. Customers were treated very well by everyone. Everyone, and they mean everyone, was extremely friendly, compassionate, and helpful. They take very good care of our "old man." This is my second trip for a potentially life saving surgery. Both times, babies were well taken care of by doctors and staff.
We had just moved to the area and our dog was very ill (seizures, confusion, locomotive issues, aggression) all of the clinics we brought her to just wanted to observe her and couldn’t find anything wrong with her. She was suffering, though it was time. Smith veterinary was understanding of that and as soon as they saw Peanut, they agreed they were understanding, kind and very accommodating. I cannot say enough how much we appreciate them. We brought her home and she now has her own personal blueberry patch. Thank you again Smith veterinary, we will continue to use you even when it isn’t an emergency.

We lost our sweet Ozzy Feb.4th, They were so supportive and gave me time with him. My puppy Frank gets great care and the prices are reasonable, some things seem high but if you look around and search, They are the cheapest in this area. Thanks Smith Veterinary Hospital for all you do for us.

Our 17 year old dachshund Johnny saw Dr. Emery yesterday. We were treated very well by everyone we saw. They always take very good care of our "old man". He likes everyone which says a lot. I'm thankful for Smith Veterinary Hospital.
