I had to bring my mini dachshund for emergency services due to an impacted/ruptured anal gland. Dr. Blake was so kind and helpful in taking care of my baby and answered all my questions. I’m very thankful they were open and could work us in on such a busy night for them
I actually thought SAVES was a great place, and the people who cared for my dog were wonderful. Everyone was kind, professional, and I felt that my dog was in good hands.
My only concern is with the policy and how it made the situation feel.
I was asked to sign a form agreeing to a roughly $615 charge for CPR if my dog went into cardiac arrest while being sedated. I completely understand that veterinary medicine is a business and that emergency care has costs. But when you are caring for someone’s beloved animal, I think there should be a little more humanity involved in how situations like this are handled.

The SAVES staff has shown me the most kind and dedicated service I have ever experienced. I had a layover flight with my kitty which got cancelled and he had not peed for 12 hours, I was panicking and decided to try the SAVES animal hospital. The only way I would not recommend this place would be because of the cost, so definitely do not go if it is not an emergency. During my stay, I was inconsolable thinking that my cat was going to die, thankfully the staff were so understanding and let me stay with him in a dedicated room, explained everything thoroughly, and never surprised me with any additional costs.
