I recently decided to test Great Clips versus Sports Clips. A week ago, I went to this location while a friend visited my favorite Sports Clips. Both of us opted to arrive in person to avoid having to jockey for an online slot, and my friend and I kept in contact via text for progress updates.
Each stylist at Great Clips had a client within the first 5 mins of opening; Sports Clips filled up just as fast. The main difference? Great Clips wasn't overrun. By the conclusion of my visit, the lobby of Great Clips was uncrowded. By comparison, every chair at Sports Clips (and then some) was taken.
We were turned away despite the store being empty with two staff members and no clients in either chair. We were told she didn’t accept walk-ins and that we would have had to check-in online. They were too busy carrying on a conversation to greet us when we walked in so I was not surprised when she said they could not take us even though the store was empty bc they needed to wait around for the other people to see if they would show up or not. A kids cut only takes 7 to 10 minutes. They obviously didn’t want my business or to work the remainder of their shifts. This is the second time we have been treated this way at a Great Clips. Try Mrs. V’s barbershop instead... read full review

Just walked in and was seen in less than 30 minutes. The staff was smiling. They say hello to everyone. My hairstylist was very attentive to what I needed and did what I asked her to do. She made suggestions and was very kind.
