“I had them come ou to give me an estimate to install sod on a hillside of my yard. John was honest and let me know that sod would not do good because of runoff. He then suggested Juniper. He got me an excellent price on the Juniper and installed it promptly. Today they finished up and added pine straw in between each Juniper plant. It looks professional and will help stop the runoff until the Juniper spreads. This company could have made more money by just putting down sod as I requested. Instead he was honest that in two years tops I would not be happy with its performances. They have integrity. I highly recommend and have to add that I am a happy camper!!!“

“Doug Stanley is a man of his word. I called and asked for an estimate. He was here when he said he would be. He gave me a price that was much better than I expected. I asked when the job could be done and he and his crew were there on time. The job was completed much quicker than I expected. Their work was immaculate and the clean up was flawless. “We had an incredible experience with Hunter and his team and the final product exceeded what we had dreamt up in our heads.

Hunter checks every box. Kind, knowledgeable, professional, punctual, attention to detail, etc. Everything you would want from a contractor and more. It felt like a we were working with a close friend or family member. He was there every step of the way from day one until we were completely satisfied. He even came back afterwards to help with work that wasn’t even a part of the project!

We threw Hunter plenty of curveballs along the way but he handled everything with composure and confidence. I mentioned attention to detail- he spent 3 hours in the driveway with me and my wife selecting which cedar posts we wanted where and which way they would face. Incredible!

“We had a difficult project for our property. We had severe flooding and drainage issues. There is a steep hill on the property that is very difficult to reach with equipment and adjustments to the property affects the neighbors which makes the situation even more complicated.

You have to understand, as a new homeowner I know nothing about such things. I called Billy first since his business was local. He was very honest with me and said the situation is complex. He walked me through the next steps I should take including obtaining the plat and engineering plans from the county, discussing with an attorney, landscape engineer, our HOA, and the city/county about the situation to see if a broad, multi-property stormwater drainage solution is required. All of this was way over my head but thankfully Billy walked me through it and provided me with contacts to call for more information. All of this time and advice without charging me a nickel.

During this time I spoke with a lot of landscapers, landscape architects, engineers, contractors, and others. I got lots of quotes, plans, ideas, engineering drawings, and more things I will not pretend to understand. Through all of that Billy stood out as the most transparent and pragmatic person who genuinely just wanted to help us get our problems sorted out, even if it didn't end up giving him any business.

So after about a year of chasing all that down, once it became clear what needs to be done with the property, I immediately contacted Billy to do the job. He came out to the property again. We came up with a plan together. He sent me a quote. And within a couple of months, the project was done. The quote was extremely transparent and there were no additional or unexpected costs. His team did a wonderful job and were extremely professional.

There are some other reviews that criticize Billy for delays or punctuality. I did have to contact him or Nancy a few times to get things moving. But usually delays were because of logistical issues (rain, issues with banking/payment systems, etc), and they were always quick to get back to me and keep me updated on the progress.

If you want an honest no-BS landscaping company who you can trust to give you good advice, not rip you off, and do professional work then give Billy a call.“
