Beautiful people with unscrupulous business practices. I used this establishment for my son who passed away on 20 May 2023. I opted for cremation, but desired to have a viewing at the service. I was originally told I could not see the body until it had been prepared for the actual service. Since I was not allowed to see him at the morgue, I asked to see him at the mortuary and was given permission. Due to the fall which caused his death, one side of his head and face was covered so I was not able to see the extent of the damage. I was asked to provide a picture which I did.I went back on the day prior to the service and was mortified! He looked hideous! Like something out of a horror film. He was originally light skinned, but he was made up to a VERY dark brown color and the make-up job was awful. His eyebrows were drawn on and crooked. His eyelids were stitched shut with huge knots in the corners of his eyes. Picture Frankenstein. I COULD NOT allow family and friends to have that as their final vision of him. I wish I didn't have to have it as mine. I opted not to have him at the service, only the urn. Since I was charged a $500 fee for the use of the casket to the church, I felt I was owed something back because I didn't use it. I was told that since Ms. Debra had to pay the make-up person {her son} and since I didn't make the decision when I first saw him, she would keep my entire $500. First off, I was never told that in the beginning. Not only that, I was told that family didn't see the body before it was prepped. So, she was not forthcoming. I suppose you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this establishment. I feel I was taken advantage of in my time of bereavement. If you do use them, make sure you ask all questions up front and pay AFTER you've viewed the body.

The facility that they were host to a funeral service (Life Changing Walk of Faith)...it was clean and more up to date than I expected. Arrangements were confirmed for someone to be at the facility so that we could set up and prep some things. We'll, after waiting in the parking lot for nearly 45 mins, several calls later to Andrews, we told to 'sit tight'. We'll more than an hour later, the church Ushers arrived and rushed us along. They were still tidying up 30-45 mins AFTER when the service was to start. I completely blame the funeral service reps as a day like this, all concerns are supposed to be handled.

R W Andrews did an exceptional job with my brother. They are a very professional and loving Mortuary. I love each of them for the love and care they displayed and assisted us with putting our loved one to rest. Thank you so much.
