Dunwoody Nature Center

When I first came to Dunwoody Nature Center for a small festival, I knew I wanted to get married here. It's tucked away in town and it is a true woodland oasis. We got married here in late September (you'll find my husband's more detailed review here too) and I am so happy to say my dream was fulfilled 10 times over. Thank you Dunwoody Nature Center for being the setting for the best day of our lives so far!

We had our wedding here at the end of September and it could not have been more perfect! We used Austin Lane for the ceremony which provided an intimate, secluded venue and the tree cover provided enough shade to keep it a comfortable temperature. This was followed by a cocktail hour in the lower meadow/sun porch and a reception in the North Woods Pavilion, both of which easily accommodated our 100+ guests. There is plenty of "behind the scenes" space for pre-event staging that we were able to use as well.The outdoor setting is so idyllic and pristine that we were able to use very simple decorations and let the nature be the focus. We used Dunwoody Nature Center for an Association Chapter Education Luncheon. Abigail & Ellen were so pleasant to work with and made sure that everything was taken care of for us. The Northwoods Pavilion is so beautiful and such a unique option to host any type of event. I would definitely book another event here!
