1I've been taking my babies to PHAH for many years that I feel like family every time I walk through their door. The staff are always pleasant, caring and understanding, especially when I had to put two of my babies to sleep. They ALL show pure and genuine love towards my babies. The vets explain any prognosis in simple terms so that I can understand whats happening and why my little one is sick. They share all options for care explaining what would not only be best for our little ones, but also taking into consideration the cost, which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend PHAH to everyone!

Pleasanthill and its incredibly kind staff has walked us through the best and hardest days imaginable with our fur babies. We’ve walked through their doors more times than we can count - for over 5 years, and have been received with warmth and patience on every occasion. While the procedures are too many to list - the most notable ones have included tooth extractions, x-rays, ultrasounds, eye ulcer evals, heart disease treatment, insulinoma diagnosis + supportive care, injured eye removal, spays, neuters- you name it. We have laughed, cried, and faced all of it together with a courage that only the staff’s deep expertise and passion for care could have mustered.… read full review

I rushed to Pleasant Hill Animal hospital because my chihuahua was suffering a medical emergency. I got there as soon as they opened but she passed as soon as we walked in. I believe her name was Christie who helped me. She gave me the biggest hug because I was a mess. The compassion and empathy I received I will be forever grateful. Thank you for being so understanding. I pick up my Tony’s ashes tomorrow.
