The mother-daughter duo who run Kruti dance academy with their bevy of student volunteers are a force to reckon with ! Dina aunty brings the discipline and traditional rigor while Shemoni brings the youthfulness and artistic sensibility to their craft-which translates to the academy's year round practices and their annual recital. These recitals are splendid and a treat to watch...and one can truly see the progression from the younger classes to the advanced ones. Happy my daughter is a part of this.
My daughter has been at Kruti since age 4 and loves it! The teachers are kind and patient. They make dance fun for the kids while instilling values of culture, art appreciation, and discipline. While virtual learning is not as ideal as in person for dance, the directors at Kruti really made the best of a difficult situation. My daughter still enjoyed learning, practicing and showcasing her recital piece virtually (which was nice for my relatives to see who live far away). The teachers made class fun online and always listened to my daughter when she had questions. They made the virtual option easy for parents, and already had a nice online platform for practicing at home. We have had a wonderful experience at Kruti, and highly recommend to others.
