I suffered from sudden insomnia for 10 days due to extreme activities and stress. Even though they were fully booked, they squeezed me in after hearing about my situation. I had my first acupuncture session and was finally able to get some deep, restful sleep that very night. After 10 days of being unable to sleep day or night, I felt like the doctor was my savior. While most people visit for pain relief, I was amazed that acupuncture could treat insomnia so effectively. I understand if you’ve never tried it or are afraid of needles, but it truly doesn’t hurt at all.
