Great people giving great service!
Trash and yard waste pickup are inconsistent. I have to call or log a complaint on SeeClickFix almost weekly. When you call them, they give you an excuse and a promise to fix the problem, but I typically have to call SEVERAL times when those promises fall short. I've spoken to the facilities manager in Macon, the route supervisor in Macon, and even talked to the facilities manager in Dublin once. Always promises to fix things and no follow through. Here I sit with a half-filled garbage can still by the road, as their truck failed to empty the contents completely. Posted on SeeClickFix because I just can't do another phone call. Of all the states, cities, and towns I've lived in, I've NEVER seen such poor service in waste management. Want to know what's always consistent? The bill! ...and I've seen people trying to rally for some action by Macon-Bibb against Ryland on a commissioner's FB page and get scolded for complaining... just bashed his constituents. There's a real good ol' boy system in place here.
