I believed my mother was having a stroke while in the CICU because her lip started curving back inward. So, I told the Critical Care nurse and she said that it was probably just because she wasn't wearing her denture plate. She died from multiple strokes a day later.Later we discovered my mother's wedding rings were stolen and the person who took our call tried to convince my father that she saw him holding my mom's hand the entire time he was with her in the ER and said that he probably took it off her hand. Wouldn't recommend this place, even if you were on your last limb. Yesterday evening, I went in due to having low iron and pain caused due to the low iron. I recently had surgery and made all 4+ nurses/assistants aware of this, from the moment I step foot into this facility. We made it to this location at 6PM and didn't get discharged until 12AM(on a work/school night). The whole night, I had been told I'd get an iron transfusion and my blood levels weren't low enough to get a transfusion. I moved here (Douglasville area) from Norcross/ Peachtree Corners. I'm used to Northside/ North Gwinnett etc. I have NEVER had to wait so long. When I came in NO ONE greeted me. I got there at 9pm and didn't leave until 5am. I HAVE LITERALLY NEVER. This hospital makes me want to seriously consider selling my house and moving back to my apartment in Norcross. I DO NOT recommend.
