My Bulldog Hoka began a second bout with an abscess in her ear. Our regular vet was out of town & Dr Carter was the only vet who would see her on short notice. This time it was MUCH worse! Dr. Carter has been absolutely phenomenal! Put her on antibiotics to wait for the swelling to go down. Today I came in 2 hours earlier than our appointment and he took her right in, gassed her & did the excision. This baby is finally at the end of a 3 week ordeal! Thank you Dr. Carter & his wonderful staff! We will be back!

I am not from Douglas so finding Dr. Carter has been a godsend. His staff is soooo personable, as well as the doctor himself and I’ve had nothing BUT positive experiences there. Dr. Carter will get straight to the issue and suggest the best, most realistic treatment and he has never been wrong. He isn’t going to drag you along and his years of hands on experience is very valuable for people that are anxious over the care of their fur babies. You will definitely get treated with dignity and respect, therefore, they deserve the same. I personally appreciate their service and have been a customer since 2019.
