I’ve been trying to find a gasket for an old chest freezer for ages and have been given the line, “We don’t carry that but let me give you the number of someone who might.” It’s led me from Oregon all the way out to y’all in Georgia! I'm so glad there is a still place that has parts for both my Kenmore washer and Maytag dryer near by. After all the major store closings that carried parts, I lucked out in getting a place that not only had parts available and on hand, but to also have knowledgeable technicians working there that had some experience of the problems that I was facing doing a DIY fix. Thanks to all the employees there in Lake City, GA. that gave me some insight to diagnose my issues with both washer and dryer and having the parts on-hand. I would definitely recommend this place as the first and only stop for parts!
I was upset when I called and the price of the drier belt I needed was $31.25, when there were similar belts available on Amazon for around $14. However, I really needed to get this repair closed up because I didn't want the drier all apart for several days while I waited for the much cheaper alternative. Begrudgingly I went to Fox Appliance Parts in Jacksonville, FL to purchase the "overpriced" replacement belt. HOWEVER, what I actually got at Fox Appliance Parts was a GENUINE, MADE IN USA, Whirlpool factory certified part which will outlast the cheaper alternative by at least 7 years, maybe 10 years! This was a GOOD purchase and I'm totally satisfied!Outstanding and knowledgable counter people. This drier repair will probably outlast me!
