I cannot say enough wonderful things about Red Barn Vet Hospital. Meeting with Dr Kangas and Dr Babcock and their two assistants Mary and Katlin, were a pleasure. They answered all of my questions with patience and put me very much at ease regarding my cat Simba's flea medication. The atmosphere is totally adorable, like you stepped into a rustic cabin. I highly recommend Red Barn, with a friendly and animal-loving atmosphere.
Red Barn doesn't just care about your pet, they care about every animal. We take our dog for regular care, but our decision to continue using Red Barn was reinforced when a stray showed up on our porch. This poor dog had a very rough time on her own, and the front desk staff did everything they could to help me figure out how to help her. Not only did they contact the registered owners on her chip (who did not want her back), they were able to get me into lumpkin county shelter on a day they arent even open for visitors. I am so glad to recommend Red Barn. I was nervous to find a new "home" after relocating to Dahlonega, as our old vet was spectacular and made us feel like family. After an "ok" but disheartening visit to another vet in the area, I had to keep searching to find the best care for our five cats. Luckily, Red Barn was just a little farther down the road and it's safe to say we found our home!
