I was desperate to find a good hair salon and stylist that I didn't have to drive out of the way for. I found a Pure Mettle by chance after a hair appointment I booked while out of town on vacation didn't pan out. Turned out seeing Summer at Pure Mettle was meant to be.
I hadn't cut my hair (other than minor trims) in 2 years and was ready to commit to a style. I spent countless hours pouring through Pinterest to find what I wanted and was excited (and nervous) to see if a stylist could bring it to life for me (nothing crazy, but didn't want a mediocre experience). I blindly booked a special hairstyle appointment with Summer after finding Pure Mettle via a google search. I was eloping an hour north, and needed to be in Cummings for flower pick up, so I figured I’d treat myself and get my hair done. I’m SO glad I did. Not only was my hair STUNNING, but the hospitality and genuineness of Summer and the staff was such amazing. I also saw multiple clients leaving with freshly touched up color and they were all so happy with the service they received. If you’re looking for a new salon, or you’re an out of town-er like me needing your hair done, I’d highly suggest Pure Mettle. 10/10 experience.

Jaime is awesome! She really takes time to listen to what you want and makes sure the final look is what you wanted. Her first time working with me my hair didn’t quite get as dark as I wanted (it was darn close and I would have happily left the salon with that color) but before I could even say anything Jaime said she wasn’t happy with the color compared to my inspiration photo and immediately mixed a darker color. The outcome was PERFECT! I just really loved that she cared so much about getting my hair just right that she took the time to get the color right and didn’t settle for anything less.
