We have had several good experiences with Coal Mountain Animal Hospital over the last two years. However, this week’s experience truly stands out. We had an emergency situation with our Frenchie that took him from a healthy playful pup to being unable to walk overnight. We took him straight to Coal Mountain Animal Hospital on a Monday morning after multiple misdiagnosis at emergency clinics over the weekend. Dr Heart’s educated and thorough evaluation of Sharky revealed an emergency situation that required a neurological specialist and immediate intervention. Truly the best vet I have ever been to. My family has had many dogs and more vet visits than we can count, but Coal Mountain Animal Hospital is by far the best. They are thorough in testing and explaining everything to me and they are so good with my dogs. 1000% recommend.
My dog was so sick and they tried to help her but she passed away with me at home. I just wish the Vet that helped us would have called me to say something, Anything. The care was very good but as a nurse I understand empathy
