I came in with one design in mind and the lady who did my nails was unqualified to do it…as in my nails needed to be air brush but she just tried to sponge the paint on….so i just stopped her in her track because my birthday was the next day and i wanted my nails done so
I just took a solid color….I will say they have last 3 going on 4 weeks so I will return to this salon but i just wouldn’t sit at the same lady chair (the salon owner)
First, I will say that I will return and tell others about My Girlfriend's Place.
I searched for a black owned nail shop for my birthday nails and found this one. I checked for a website and Instagram. I saw that there was a name your price special so it was perfect. I walk in and was pleasantly greeted by baby Jayda ( I overheard her say her name).
I didn't wait long for another tech. I don't know her name but she did a good job. I'm particular and I have psoriasis on my hand and nails. She was gentle but not talkative. I respect it because my nails were done in good time. I'm just use to a more bubbly high vibe environment.
