The studio's owners, Ms. Key and her mother, Ms. Nola, are described as genuinely loving and wise individuals who take the time to sew life nuggets into the girls who attend the studio. The instructors at the studio are experienced and dedicated, with a focus on progress over perfection. They have helped many young dancers learn dance moves and the names of each step, while also building their confidence and encouraging them to make friends. The studio offers regular dance practice, recitals, and dance wear, and the parents and students are described as a close-knit community. Many families have found a home away from home at In the Key of Dance Studio, and the positive impact it has had on their lives is immeasurable.
My daughter has attended this dance studio for a little over 8 months. She has thrived since attending dance classes here. She's excited to go to class each week and always leaves with a smile. She's not only learned the dance moves but also knows the name of each moves. Progress over perfection!!
My daughter started late in the dance season, back in December 2022. I was so worried about if she would fit in, would be behind or just wouldn’t gravitate towards dance but my oh my - my baby loves it. She has made friends, built confidence and is being active. Ms Key and Ms Nola are amazing, they’re both kind and so helpful. I feel like they’re family, and I feel like I get a little piece of home with the studio, owners and some parents (being from New Orleans). Everything is organized, from regular dance practice, recitals and any dance wear!!!! The young girls are all nice, and welcoming - they all really work as a team. What more could you ask for!
I never knew,about 3 yrs ago,how randomly driving up in a parking lot during COVID could positively change our family's lives;FOREVER!First, I saw the genuinely loving, youthful,yet wise Mrs.Nola(Ms.Key's mom) and then her daughter,the owner,Ms Key.I was so touched by how much time Ms.Nola spends at the studio,sewing life nuggets into our girls(even outside of dance).During one of the most difficult times in my adult life,they have not only made a safe,peaceful and clean place for my youngest daughter to go to every week to grow into loving dance and making her look like she's been dancing for years,but she's also blessed me with making sure that my daughter embraced...read full review
