So Grateful for Rivertown Veterinary Emergency
On July 13, my Mom and I had to take my kitty, Gracie, to Rivertown Veterinary Emergency due to vomiting and dehydration. She had recently been diagnosed with kidney disease, so I was very worried. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by how kind and organized the staff was.
We waited in the car until it was our turn. Two more severe cases were treated ahead of us, and they explained that they have to triage cases. We completely understood. Brought my 8yo lab Olive in today bc both of her paws on her left side were swollen, which was concluded to most likely be an allergic reaction to some kind of bug bite. After calling her primary vet and another emergency vet they recommended, neither could take her. I’m so so thankful I was able to bring her here, right off the bat everyone was so kind and helpful. I was freaking out when I first brought her in and left feeling so much better, and I know my girl did too. Thank you Dr. Kees and all the sweet girls working today!! Hopefully will not have an emergency like that again, but if it happens I know where I’ll take her ?
