Georgia Driving Academy

Georgia Driving Academy's Columbus Campus is a well-known truck driving school located in Georgia’s second-largest city. Recently moved behind the SONS Chevrolet dealership near Peachtree Mall, the campus offers comprehensive programs including Class A and Class B CDL training, as well as CDL Refresher training. Many students praise the instructors for their professionalism, knowledge, and support, which help students understand the material and succeed.

Some reviews mention concerns about the school's organization and facilities. Issues with equipment and access to driving time, especially in larger classes, have been noted, which can impact the overall learning experience. The amenities are described as lacking, and there have been reports of disorganization causing delays in training schedules.

Despite these concerns, there are positive comments about the job connections the academy provides and the respect it has from employers. The instructors, especially Ms. Nita and Mr. Moses, are appreciated for their dedication, helping students succeed through tools and support. The accelerated course option is also praised for allowing students to get on the road sooner. Overall, Georgia Driving Academy offers valuable training and a supportive environment, but prospective students should consider both the strengths and weaknesses before enrolling.
