Many stylist are quick to say they "specialize in natural hair" but don't know the first thing about caring for natural hair. Melinda was very knowledgable of hair in general and took the time to access my hair and its needs. I've been natural for a little over 3 yrs and this was the 1st time I've had my hair straighten in 3 yrs because the last stylist caused severe heat damage and was someone that supposedly specialized in natural hair. Melinda listen to my wants and was able to find a good balance between giving me what I wanted and providing what I needed.
