After enjoying their Insta-presence, I decided a little road trip into Blue Ridge territory was in order for my weekend to get back out in the world after a week at home recovering from the seasonal crud. And I have to say, the trip did not disappoint one bit! I didn't stop at the storefront in town but headed a little further down the road and was greeted by a calm and peaceful surrounding and lovely apothecary goodies that speak to my inner "green witch" desires. Great u-pick experience and an amazing market with delectable fruit and savory pies (the apple pie and the shepherd pie were the best I’ve tasted) and an awesome barista bar! Definitely a family tradition multiple times a year!

This was such a delightful place that I don’t even know where to begin my review! Firstly, everyone there is so friendly and pleasant that it makes you feel like family when you walk in. The apothecary had so many interesting things and I wanted to walk away with all the dried herbs there! Then the apple picking was so fun and hearing the story of the history of the orchard and original owner all while he was driving the tractor pulling the wagon, it was just too much for my heart to handle. I was spending my birthday there with my fiancée and I could not have asked for a better place to be than right there that day. Highly highly recommend going and seeing this place....read full review
