My visit to North Georgia Family Medicine in Blairsville this morning was very pleasant. I did not have an appointment but rather needed urgent care. I felt the wait time was fair for just walking in. Everyone I encountered was very friendly, from the front desk workers to the nurse and especially Katie Storms. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do for me. I was in and out without being rushed and was able to go on with my day.

I REALLY love the people at NGFM. I LOVE Melissa Youngblood N.P. she really takes her time with her patients and all of their needs. She's AWESOME. The problem is that no one seems to be answering the phone. I have called 10 times today and left 2 messages. I also tried leaving a call back number to no avail. I know they are open, and I don't believe that no one is there to answer the phone. There are always people working in the front. This is not the 1st time this has happened. Like I said, I LOVE this practice, but if I can't get through, what do I do? I have been trying since about 9:30 this morning and have continued throughout the day. I have been a patient here for years. I’ve never been disappointed with any of the care I have received. From getting my blood drawn being painless to diagnosing what was going on with me.After coughing for almost 2 1/2 weeks, my husband urged me to go to the doctor again. I didn’t think I was going to be able to get an appointment so I was going to go to the local clinic and was not able to be seen there, I took a chance and called the doctors office again at 4:15, I was able to get in there at 5:15.
