This is by far my favorite crossfit gym I've ever been to. I've been to 4 different programs with many instructors. Typically, I hear that it's all types of workouts, but they end up doing 90% clean amd jerks and snatches and few calisthenics movements. Crossfit 1209 is truly versatile, and accommodating to different strengths. As if that weren't good enough, this is the most inviting environment out of any of the Crossfits. They don't make you feel like you're less of a person if you don't come out or need accommodating workouts. It is truly inviting to ALL people! Rod and the crew at CrossFit 1209 are amazing! I dropped in for a week while staying at the RV park next door. Everyone was beyond friendly, coaches were great and the facility is clean with plenty of equipment. Highly recommend dropping in or becoming a member.
My husband and I dropped in at CrossFit 1209 for a week while visiting Augusta, and we had such a great experience! Coach Rod, Joe, and all of the members gave us such a warm welcome. We loved the atmosphere here, and the fun challenging workouts. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in town!
