At the end of April my 94 year old mother fell. She spent 4 days in the hospital. After, they sent her to "rehab". Now THAT was a joke. She spent 2 weeks in bed in a diaper. "Therapy" consisted of getting her out of bed occasionally and sitting in a wheelchair. I had had enough. I brought her home, and arrangements were made for at home therapy from Amedisys. These ladies were awesome!!! She had PT, OT, and a visiting nurse. She's been in therapy now for 5 weeks and will be signed out next week. We couldn't be happier! Mom is back where she was before she fell. She walks with her walker and has regained the strength she lost being in bed for 3 weeks. Excellent company,...read full review
