- 2057 Lawrenceville Hwy, DecaturVogt Riding Academy is a wonderful and amazing place to learn how to ride. The instruction is great and the teachers are amazing. It is a very busy place with riders of all different levels. The horses are cute and looked after with great care, with each horse being a different fun lesson. Everyone is so kind. Students become great riders, make friends, and have fun. It is super fun and totally recommended.
We love Vogt! Lydia, the barn manager, is so communicative and the perfect mix of kind and firm with her expectations from riders. Being a part of this barn is a responsibility, while also being fun. Students are expected to learn how to care for the horses, do chores before and after their lessons, and by doing so become part of the amazing community at Vogt. My 10 year old daughter has been coming for 9 months and loves it. I've seen her confidence grow and her sense of responsibility grow as well. Highly recommend.
The teachers are amazing and each horse is a different fun lesson i know this from being a student myself you come here and make friends you become a great rider and have fun while doing it even the chores are fun just the thought of helping the horses makes me happy I totally recommend Vogt Riding Academy
As someone who has ridden at other barns, this is an amazing barn! The instruction is great and the horses are looked after with great care. I would recommend Vogt to anyone looking to start riding or anyone looking for a new barn.
