I’ve been dealing with a lingering migraine for about a month now, and it ended up being tied to pain I had been ignoring in my neck and back. Safiyah didn’t just give me a massage, she sat with me, listened, and took the time to really understand what was going on with me. She reassured me that things would get better, and more importantly, that she was going to help make sure they did.
She mentioned that any discomfort will become comfort once we work through it and that being open about what I’m feeling would help us reach that goal. I’ve had massage therapy before, but I’ve never had someone explain what was happening in my body as it was happening....read full review
Safiyah is an awesome medical massage therapist. I am a retiree from the Air Force, and sometimes it’s hard for veterans to find the exact care to fit our needs, because we deal with physical and mental health issues. She is a great listener and she absolutely adores veterans. I’ve been blessed enough to be paired up with her through the VA community care program and she has been a blessing to me.
I went in 7 weeks ago with extreme chronic back and neck pain. My pain level was at a 10, now my pain level is down to 4-5. If you ever get a chance to book her, please “do it”, you won’t regret it.
Arrived early and was very professional. I am a military veteran and we take our time very seriously. She is vey knowledgeable and educated me was that I can improve mobility. I recommend to all other veterans and anyone else that needs a medical massage therapist.
